Supplementary elections for several Councillor vacancies across the Hills are now underway. These occur when a councillor resigns with more than 12 months left in their term before the next major Council election cycle.
The high turnover of councillors lately says something about the state of our councils — and the culture within.
Candidates I Support
I’m unable to provide a run-down on every candidate, however I’ve highlighted and endorsed those who — from what I understand — hold similar values to my own.
That includes things like personal responsibility, transparency, fiscal discipline, and a preference for practical outcomes over ideology.
